We had a pretty busy Halloween this year! It started with Brooklynn's school party on Thursday. Trail went to work with Nana while I went to Brooklynn's party. It was nice to be able to focus 100% of my attention on her.

Brooklynn wanted to be Wilbur for Halloween, but at her school party she refused to wear her tail and nose. She was basically a ballerina with pig ears. :)
The funniest part about her costume was that she wore the exact same thing 2 years ago when she was a fairy, we just used different shoes and accessories. I was amazed that the leotard still fit!
Friday we met up with the Martins to Trick-or-Treat on the square. It was fun, and I know David liked having us stop by his work!

Trail was going to be a farmer to go along with Brooklynn's pig costume, but the weather cooled off quite a bit and I hated the idea of bundling him up so much that you couldn't see his costume. I went by Old Navy Friday morning and their costumes were $2, so I picked up a lion outfit for him (it was the only one in his size).Trail, Brooklynn, Sam, and Abby
Trail and Abby are 3 days apart, and they were enthralled with one another! I can tell we're going to have to really watch them when they get older.
Last Halloween Jessica and I were pregnant and we had just found out that Trail was a boy. It's amazing how much changes in one year!
Saturday night was Trunk-or-Treat at our churchScout and Brooklynn (it's really blurry, but the only pic we got w/her pig nose on)
When I was getting dressed Saturday night, Brooklynn told me she wanted to put her make up on. She sat still while I applied lots of glitter, eyeshadow, lipstick, and even mascara! I had no idea how long her lashes are b/c they're so light, but with the mascara on it looked like she had lash extensions.
She was exhausted when we finally made it home (Trail too). Here are some pictures of her all ready for bed...
I'm glad Halloween only comes once a year. This weekend wore me out! :)

Trail is growing up so fast and Broooklynn's hair is adorable! I can't wait until you can come visit the LR house! It will be so fun to have you over!

You guys had a way busier halloween than we did, and I was exhausted so I can only imagine how wore out you were! We had a lot of fun with you guys! and I agree, we will definitely have to watch Trail and Abby when they're older! But it's soooo cute that they like each other so much!
